Carpenter

Watershed Building Co is a custom home builder. We are known for our quality builds and renovations with a personal level of service. We are looking for a Carpenter to join our build team.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and vibrant team environment. They key responsibilities for the role include:

• Reading and interpreting complex architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Performing detailed first-fix carpentry, including high-quality roof and wall framing.
• Executing second-fix carpentry, including skirting, architraves, doors, windows, and detailed cabinetry/joinery installation.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work site.
• Supervising and mentoring the Apprentice Carpenter.
• Ensuring work is completed to an exceptional standard and within project timelines

We are looking for:

• Excellent communications skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Certificate 3 in Carpentry
• Minimum 5 years construction experience
• Full drivers license
• Proficient IT skills and ability to read and interpret plans
• White Card
