Carpenter

Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter and bring skilled craftsmanship to a variety of building projects! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing structures using a wide range of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, durable, and high-quality buildings and renovations. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, drywall, and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools.
• Erect metal buildings, metal stud framing, and perform framing carpentry tasks for various structures.
• Install concrete forms, rebar, drywall, stucco, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry components to meet project specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or assisting in demolition and restoration projects.
• Perform concrete finishing work including pouring, smoothing, and sealing concrete surfaces.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship throughout each phase of construction.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with a strong understanding of building techniques.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and interpreting construction plans accurately.
• Hands-on experience with metal building erection, masonry work, welding, drywall installation, plastering, roofing, siding, remodeling and restoration projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as tape measures for dimensional measurements; familiarity with power tools is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during framing or trim work.
• Knowledge of basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations on-site.
• Valid construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently within a team environment using safety-conscious practices.

Pay: $29.25 - $40.00 per hour
