Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and schematics for various projects
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and effectively
• Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and perform dimensional measurements for framing and carpentry tasks
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols
• Use basic math skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and project requirements accurately
• Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure project specifications are met
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase

Experience

• Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
• Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; heavy equipment operation preferred
• Knowledge of framing techniques including woodworking, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, frame carpentry
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long work hours on-site
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate construction work
