Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, durability, and quality in every project. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
• Build and install frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, siding, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks for foundations, slabs, and other concrete structures.
• Conduct drywall installation and repair to achieve smooth finishes suitable for painting or finishing.
• Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork, fixtures, or structural elements.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to move materials on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, framing, drywall installation, siding application, and concrete finishing.
• Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes for various structural elements.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to construction sites.
• Knowledge of welding techniques for metal components when necessary for structural integrity.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
