Experienced Carpenters | Melbourne | $50–$53/hr + Super

Relay Labour Hire is seeking experienced, qualified carpenters for upcoming residential and commercial projects across Melbourne.

We’re looking for carpenters with at least 5 years’ experience, strong attention to detail and proven skills in timber and steel framing, lock-up and fix.

ABOUT THE WORK

Depending on the project, duties may include:

• Timber and steel framing
• Lock-up and fix carpentry
• Residential renovations and new builds
• Commercial carpentry and fit-outs
• Reading plans and completing work to specifications
• Working safely and maintaining a tidy site

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Current White Card valid for work in Victoria
• Own tools, with electrical equipment tested and tagged where required
• Ability to work independently and alongside other trades
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and clear communication
• Strong workmanship and attention to detail
• Australian working rights
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
• Working with Children Check advantageous for relevant sites

PAY & OPPORTUNITIES

• $50–$53 per hour + super, depending on experience and assignment
• Applicable overtime rates and allowances
• Opportunities for further assignments based on performance and client demand
• Potential for longer-term placements where available
• Support from the Relay Labour Hire team throughout your placement
