Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction site experience, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality building projects, ensuring safety, precision, and durability in every task. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential remodels to commercial metal building erection.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, drywall, siding, trim carpentry, and other woodwork with precision
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to support foundational work
• Erect metal buildings and framing structures using appropriate techniques and safety protocols
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct masonry work including plastering, stucco application, and bricklaying as needed
• Manage construction site activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination with team members to meet project deadlines

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry and trim work
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, roofing installation, drywall hanging and finishing, siding application, and restoration projects
• Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools
• Skilled in welding, metal building erection, rebar installation, and concrete forming techniques
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation when necessary
• Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations required on-site
• Experience with construction management practices to coordinate tasks efficiently on complex projects
