Long Neck Custom Homes builds luxury custom homes in Fairfield County, CT.

The role
We’re looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in precise, clean work. You’ll work on custom homes from framing through finish, alongside our existing carpentry crew and under the direction of our field operations lead.

What you’ll do

• Frame floors, walls, roofs, and stairs from plans and details
• Install windows, exterior doors, siding, and exterior trim
• Complete interior finish carpentry: casing, base, crown, built-ins, millwork, and custom trim
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, and flag conflicts early
• Keep a clean, organized, safe job site
• Coordinate with subcontractors and the superintendent on sequencing

What we’re looking for

• [5+] years of professional carpentry experience, ideally in high-end residential or custom homes
• Strong skills in both rough framing and/or finish work
• Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements
• Reliable and punctual, with good communication and a professional manner around clients
• Commitment to job site safety (OSHA 10 a plus)
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to have

• Experience with Buildertrend or similar jobsite software
• Experience with high-end millwork, coffered ceilings, or custom stairs
• Lead or foreman experience
