Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
• Measure and mark dimensions using tape measures, rulers, and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts and placements.
• Construct frameworks for buildings using wood, metal studs, or other materials according to specifications.
• Install drywall, stucco, siding, trim carpentry, and perform finishing work to achieve smooth surfaces and professional appearances.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components.
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing tasks to support foundation and structural work.
• Assist with metal building erection, roofing installation, masonry work, plastering, and restoration projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by following safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of tools and materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or carpentry with knowledge of framing, drywall installation, roofing, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; and heavy equipment operation when necessary.
• Strong understanding of dimensional measurements, construction plans, metal stud framing, and schematics.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship.
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety practices and teamwork.
• Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming & finishing, masonry techniques, welding basics, siding installation, remodeling tasks, drywall finishing, plastering or stucco application is highly desirable.
• Valid certifications related to construction safety or equipment operation are a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
