Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades, with versatility ranging through rough framing, drywall hanging/taping, finish trim, door/window installation, and basic tile or painting. Must have a reliable work vehicle and tools for work!

Responsibilities

• Perform frame carpentry tasks, including building and installing frameworks for walls, floors, ceilings, and other structures.
• Execute trim carpentry work such as installing moldings, baseboards, window casings, and other finishing details.
• Use tape measures and other hand tools accurately to ensure precise measurements and cuts.
• Collaborate co-workers to develop and implement a plan
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of tools and materials.
• Read and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
• Assist in the setup of construction sites, including material handling and site organization.
• Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Skills

• Proficiency in frame carpentry techniques with experience in constructing structural frameworks.
• Strong tape measure skills for precise measurement and cutting.
• Experience in trim carpentry with an eye for detail in finishing work.
• Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and teamwork.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or plans related to carpentry projects.
• Good physical stamina, strength, and dexterity to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project needs.

Pay: $25.69 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
