Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, siding, and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform framing tasks for various structures.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to follow safety protocols, adhere to construction plans, and meet project deadlines.

Skills

• Extensive experience in carpentry with a focus on framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
• Ability to use hand tools such as tape measures for accurate dimensional measurements; familiarity with power tools is essential.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise execution of construction tasks.
• Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during construction site activities.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
