Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures using a variety of materials and techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from residential remodels to large-scale commercial builds. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and metal components with precision using hand tools and power tools.
• Erect metal buildings and framing structures, including metal stud framing and dimensional measurements.
• Install siding, drywall, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and perform restoration or remodeling tasks as needed.
• Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing construction site activities such as scaffolding setup and material handling.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction site activities with a strong background in carpentry and related trades.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., tape measures) and power tools for precise cuts and assembly.
• Knowledgeable in metal building erection, steel framing, rebar installation, and metal stud framing techniques.
• Capable of performing finishing, drywall installation, siding application,etc
• Strong understanding of basic math principles for dimensional measurements; experienced in using tape measures effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of safety protocols on-site.
• Experience with construction management tasks such as coordinating materials or assisting with project timelines is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
