14-Week Project | External Upgrades & Internal Refurbishment

Network Construction Services is seeking a qualified carpenter or highly skilled construction labourer to join our team for a 14-week project in Cootamundra.

The works involve external building upgrades and internal refurbishment. We are looking for a reliable, practical person who takes pride in their workmanship and can work effectively alongside our site management team and subcontractors.

The role

Depending on your skills and qualifications, duties will include:

• General carpentry, framing, fit-out and finishing works.
• Assisting with external upgrades and internal refurbishment.
• Strip-out, demolition and preparation of work areas.
• Installing materials, fixtures and building components.
• Assisting trades and coordinating daily tasks with the Site Manager.
• Receiving deliveries, moving materials and maintaining an organised site.
• Protecting existing finishes and keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Following site instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.

About you

You will have:

• A carpentry trade qualification or substantial hands-on construction experience as a skilled labourer.
• Experience in refurbishment, fit-out or general building works.
• Confidence using power tools and construction equipment safely.
• The ability to work independently within your capabilities and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
• A reliable work ethic, punctuality and clear communication.
• A current White Card, driver’s licence and reliable transport.

For carpenter applicants, the ability to read drawings, set out work and complete carpentry tasks with minimal supervision is essential.
