Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter with experience in custom furniture production and installation. The candidate will be responsible for panel processing, edge-banding, furniture assembly, and supporting on-site installations while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform panel cutting, drilling, edge-banding, and lipping according to shop drawings and production requirements.
• Operate panel saws, edge-banding machines, and other woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate measurements, proper finishing, and quality workmanship.
• Assemble cabinets, doors, and custom furniture, including correct hardware installation.
• Assist with on-site furniture installation, positioning, alignment, and adjustments.
• Handle finished furniture carefully and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Identify drawing, measurement, or material discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and instructions from supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or custom furniture manufacturing.
• Experience in panel furniture production is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and measurements.
• Practical knowledge of panel processing, edge-banding, furniture assembly, and hardware installation.
• Ability to operate woodworking machinery safely.
• Physically fit and willing to support on-site and night installations when required.
• Good teamwork, discipline, communication, and a responsible attitude.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence are an advantage.
