Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial carpentry, with experience in various building techniques and materials. This role involves working on diverse projects, from framing to restoration and siding work. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment, and possess the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
• Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and frameworks using hand tools and power tools
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks for foundation or structural work
• Install drywall, siding, and other exterior or interior finishes with precision
• Assist with restoration projects including repairs to existing structures
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience

• Proven experience in carpentry or construction work is required
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Familiarity with concrete forming, drywall installation, siding, woodworking, and concrete finishing techniques
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project tasks
• Prior experience with restoration projects or working on diverse building types is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment
