Carpenter

Job Overview

As a Carpenter, you’ll build, install, repair, and finish structures across construction and remodeling projects. You’ll use construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to measure materials, prepare work areas, and complete tasks safely and accurately. Work may include wood and metal framing, concrete, masonry, and interior or exterior finishes.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings; take dimensional measurements and calculate basic material needs.
• Build and install frame carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and metal building components.
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, and welding tasks as assigned.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment; lift and position materials safely.
• Complete woodworking, drywall, plastering, stucco, siding, and remodeling work.

Qualifications

• Construction experience and construction site experience; carpentry experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and follow construction plans.
• Proficiency with tape measures, dimensional measurements, and basic math.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools; ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Experience in metal building erection, concrete forming and finishing, rebar installation, masonry, welding, metal stud framing, woodworking, trim or frame carpentry, drywall, plastering, stucco, siding, remodeling, or heavy equipment operation is beneficial. Construction management experience is also a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
