Carpenter Foreman

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Carpentry Foreman to supervise and manage the carpentry department. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in furniture carpentry, excellent leadership abilities, and the capability to coordinate daily operations, quality control, and team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the carpentry team in daily tasks and production activities
• Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all carpentry jobs
• Oversee cutting, assembling, repairing, and finishing of wooden furniture and frames
• Ensure accurate measurements, proper alignment, and high‑quality finishing
• Coordinate with carpentry, paint, and production teams for smooth workflow
• Inspect completed items to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Train new carpenters and maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness in the carpentry section
• Manage materials, tools, and inventory required for carpentry work
• Read measurements, drawings, and job orders accurately
• Provide daily updates to the operations/production manager
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards and production timelines
• Review and approve measurements before cutting to avoid material wastage
• Handle troubleshooting for complex carpentry issues and guide the team with solutions
• Conduct quality checks at each stage of production to avoid rework

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
• Strong knowledge of wood cutting, assembling, repairing, and finishing
• Ability to lead a team and manage workflow efficiently
• Experience in furniture making and custom carpentry
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Responsible, punctual, and detail‑oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience in custom furniture production
• English Language Is Must
• Strong finishing and quality‑control skills

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
