Duties

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specifications
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to interpret construction requirements accurately
• Coordinate construction schedules using industry-standard management software such as Primavera P6 and Procore to meet project deadlines
• Manage daily site operations, including material procurement, equipment usage, and workflow organization
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe work environment
• Conduct quality control inspections and oversee adherence to construction regulations and building codes
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and project scheduling to optimize resources
• Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical documents to ensure clarity and accuracy before execution
• Manage team performance through effective communication, training, and crew management strategies
• Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary to ensure compliance with safety standards

Skills

• Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with proven supervisory roles
• Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other industry tools
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project management principles, and contract administration
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and federal safety standards related to construction sites
• Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
• Competence in managing budgets, procurement processes, and project documentation
• Strong communication skills for managing client expectations and team coordination
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as Ohmmeter for quality assurance purposes
