Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter Foreman to lead and oversee residential and commercial carpentry projects from start to finish. As a key leader on our construction sites, you will coordinate crews, interpret technical drawings, and ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in framing, trim carpentry, drywall, and restoration projects will drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction. Duties

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects
• Interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately to guide on-site work
• Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials such as wood construction materials are available and used correctly
• Perform framing, door hanging, drywall installation, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking, plastering, and fixture installation as required
• Ensure compliance with power tool safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate labor assessments and material needs for projects
• Conduct heavy lifting and assembly tasks for remodeling or restoration projects while maintaining safety protocols
• Interpret construction plans for metal stud framing, interior trim work, or restoration industry requirements
• Support site safety initiatives including proper handling of power tools and use of personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry, framing, drywall, or remodeling projects
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and other carpentry equipment
• Experience with residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, stucco application, and rebar installation
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans
• Knowledge of power tool safety practices and proper handling of heavy lifting tasks
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site
• Previous experience in restoration industry projects or handyman work is a plus
