Modus Projects is looking for an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our team across two dedicated commercial sites in Sunshine West and Tullamarine.

With flexible 3-day or 5-day options, this role is ideal for someone who wants the stability of allocated sites while still having the opportunity to work across a broader Facilities Maintenance portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preventative and reactive maintenance across allocated commercial sites
• General carpentry, repairs and handyman works
• Site inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
• Repairs to fixtures, fittings and general building elements
• Minor patching and building maintenance
• Responding to site requests and completing work orders
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
• Working independently while being supported by our Head Office team
• Using a phone and tablet to manage work orders and maintenance records

What We're Looking For

• Relevant Carpentry, Building or similar trade qualification
• Commercial maintenance experience highly regarded
• Strong general carpentry and handyman skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of allocated sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for work orders
• Additional trade tickets or certifications are an advantage
• Ability to successfully complete required police check and medical
