Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate project execution
• Carry out heavy lifting duties safely to move materials and equipment around job sites
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling

Requirements

• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Previous construction experience or handyman skills are a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to different project requirements
