Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters and construction crews with the preparation and setup of job sites, including measuring, cutting, and handling materials
• Support the installation of windows, cabinets, drywall, flooring, tile, and other building materials according to project specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
• Help with framing, concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on outdoor and indoor sites
• Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to assist with accurate material placement and project execution
• Support site cleanup, material fabrication, and organization of tools and supplies throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, etc.
• Experience or interest in building construction, remodeling, hardscaping projects, or related fields
• Strong attention to detail for precise installation of building materials such as drywall, tile, cabinetry, or masonry
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work environments involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions clearly
