Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience in the restoration industry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, operate power and hand tools, and perform a variety of construction tasks. The Carpenter/Laborer will contribute to projects involving framing, trim work, fixture installation, and more.

Duties

• Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry tasks with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed.
• Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation activities.
• Assist with cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work.
• Participate in roofing projects and heavy lifting as required.
• Carry out flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting duties.
• Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Strong skills in woodworking, fixture installation, caulking, stucco application, and rebar installation.
• Experience with metal stud framing, CNC operation, assembly tasks, plumbing, and electrical work is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Previous experience on construction sites is essential; restoration industry experience is highly valued.
