Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on carpentry and masonry work, including structural framing and block installation
• Operate battery-powered tools, gasoline engines, and small diesel-powered construction equipment
• Assist in light plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed
• Mix and place concrete and mortar using appropriate equipment and methods
• Work from jobsite plans, verbal directions, and field measurements
• Collaborate with field crews to deliver safe, timely, and high-quality workmanship
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, contributing to a collaborative team culture
• Demonstrate reliability and responsibility while adapting to evolving jobsite conditions

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in general construction, including carpentry and masonry
• Familiarity with concrete, mortar, and associated mixing equipment
• Familiarity with carpentry hand tools
• Working knowledge of construction-related electrical, plumbing, or welding is a plus
• Ability to operate small equipment (e.g., skid steers, saws, pumps)
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and willingness to both mentor and learn
• Respectful of all cultures, religions, and backgrounds
• Must be dependable and drug/alcohol-free

Schedule
