Carpenter post-frame / pole-building

Job Summary

Western Canadian Building Solutions is looking to add experienced carpenters to our construction crews. We are specifically looking for individuals with post-frame / pole-building experience who are comfortable working on the road on and off throughout Western Canada.

What We're Looking For

• Previous post-frame construction experience is strongly preferred
• Strong framing and general carpentry skills
• Experience with wood post-frame structures, trusses, purlins, girts, roof and wall systems
• Experience installing metal roofing and siding is an asset
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
• Able to read construction drawings and follow building plans
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently as part of a crew
• Willing and able to travel for projects when required
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
• Safety-conscious and able to maintain a clean, organized jobsite

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Industry: Post Frame / Agricultural / Commercial Construction
• Travel: Required – crews will work on the road for certain projects and return home between projects depending on scheduling
• Location: Projects throughout Alberta and Western Canada
• Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
