Job Description

We are seeking experienced and dependable Carpenters / Restoration Technicians to join a professional property restoration team in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople with hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall installation, painting, remodeling, or property restoration.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and can complete assigned projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform finish carpentry, including installing doors, baseboards, trim, and casing.
• Measure, cut, and install construction materials accurately.
• Complete drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
• Perform interior painting, surface preparation, texturing, and staining.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and table saws.
• Assist with residential and commercial property restoration projects.
• Work with project managers to complete assignments on schedule.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Transport materials using company-provided vehicles when assigned.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation for property damage restoration.

Qualifications

Required:

• Approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, or related construction work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with finish carpentry and drywall installation or repair.
• Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical construction work.
• Availability for occasional emergency on-call assignments.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Additional experience is a plus:

• Fire, water, or storm damage restoration.
• Residential or commercial remodeling.
• OSHA safety training.
• IICRC restoration certifications.
• Crew leadership or project coordination.

Work Environment

Work takes place primarily at residential and commercial job sites in the Sheboygan area. Some assignments may involve properties affected by fire, flooding, storms, or structural damage.

Regional travel and participation in an emergency response rotation may be required.
