Carpenter Supervisor

About the role

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between the factory workshop, project teams, and installation sites. You will lead multiple carpentry teams, control factory operations, manage materials, and ensure all projects are completed smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and manage multiple carpentry teams (each team consisting of 3-4 carpenters)
• Effectively allocate tasks and coordinate internal carpentry work between senior carpenters and junior general workers
• Manage worker scheduling, including daily task assignments and overtime allocation to ensure projects are completed on time
• Accurately calculate, prepare, and order all materials, timber, and hardware needed by all teams to minimize waste
• Strictly control factory materials and inventory
• Oversee the entire manufacturing process in the factory to ensure high-quality carpentry standards are met
• Conduct precise on-site measurements before manufacturing to ensure smooth installation
• Work closely with internal project teams to schedule and coordinate production plans with project timelines
• Arrange and supervise on-site delivery, installation, and final project handover
• Ensure all progress runs smoothly, proactively identify bottlenecks, and respond quickly to resolve any work or site issues

About you

• Extensive carpentry experience with solid practical experience in carpentry manufacturing, fine carpentry techniques, and assembly
• Leadership experience managing carpentry and general worker teams in factory or on-site settings
• Strong material calculation ability and ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent organizational skills capable of simultaneously managing multiple project schedules, installation work, and factory workflows
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly and effectively to changing project requirements or site situations
