Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Construction Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from commercial renovations to new developments. As a Carpenter/Construction Worker, you will be instrumental in executing construction tasks efficiently, safely, and with precision. Your hands-on expertise and dedication will help bring construction plans to life while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
• Perform heavy lifting and operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on-site.
• Perform carpentry activities including framing, roofing, trim carpentry and renovation work.
• Contribute to concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create durable structures.
• Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) for concrete reinforcement in foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
• Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for all team members and visitors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery safely.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.

Additional Notes

• Pay is $16-$26 per hour based on the individuals experience and skill.
• All work is 1099.
• This position does NOT offer benefits such as company paid health care.
• Although we are headquartered in Washington, NC our works can take us as much as 3 hours away depending on the job.
