Experienced Carpenter – Self-Employed Subcontractor

Location: Worcestershire | Base: Droitwich

We are looking for an experienced carpenter with a good knowledge of general building and property maintenance works to undertake a variety of projects across Worcestershire.

Our unit is based in Droitwich, with work taking place at sites throughout the county.

The work includes:

• General carpentry and joinery.
• Fitting and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards and architraves.
• Kitchen fitting and other refurbishment works.
• General building repairs and property maintenance.

Applicants should:

• Have relevant carpentry experience and practical knowledge of general building works.
• Have their own tools.
• Be capable of working independently and alongside other trades.
• Take pride in their work and maintain a tidy working area.
• Be reliable and professional, with good communication skills.

A driving licence and your own van are not required.

Engagement basis

This is a self-employed subcontractor opportunity, with payments administered under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). Rates, scope of work and availability will be agreed for each engagement. Subcontractors are free to accept or decline work and undertake work for other clients. A written subcontractor agreement will be required before work starts.
