Carpenter/Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. As a key member of our crew, you will be involved in diverse carpentry tasks, from framing and trim work to remodeling and restoration projects, ensuring safety, precision, and excellence at every stage.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
• Perform framing, siding and drywall installation.
• Handle heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, rebar, and other building components while adhering to safety protocols.
• Install fixtures, flooring, tile, trim carpentry elements, and perform finishing work with attention to detail.
• Operate woodworking machines safely for precise cuts and assembly; utilize hand tools effectively for detailed carpentry work.
• Follow construction safety standards including power tool safety procedures; maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Assist with remodeling projects by interpreting construction plans and executing tasks efficiently to meet project timelines.

Experience

• Construction experience is a plus with a focus on residential carpentry and remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with woodworking techniques using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
• Experience in framing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation.
