Carpenter/Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise. As a key contributor, you will assist in building, installing, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
• Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, CNC machines, and woodworking machines safely and effectively.
• Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, siding, trim, flooring, tile, roofing components, and other building materials in residential or commercial settings.
• Assist with framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and water damage restoration efforts.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring, and metal stud framing as needed.
• Maintain construction site safety protocols by adhering to power tool safety standards and ensuring proper handling of all equipment.
• Support restoration projects including mold remediation and water damage repairs while following industry best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating and reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture setup.
• Experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders; power tools for woodworking; masonry tools; and wood construction materials.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical plans accurately for precise execution of tasks.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures including power tool safety and proper handling of heavy equipment.
• Hands-on experience in remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, roofing work or electrical experience is highly desirable.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication or assembly tasks.
