Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, trim, siding, drywall, and other wood construction materials according to construction plans and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, siding installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling projects
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling materials such as wood products and construction debris
• Follow all safety protocols related to power tool operation, site safety procedures, and hazardous material handling

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and interpreting technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry projects
• Experience with residential carpentry including framing, trim work, drywall installation, and fixture mounting
• Familiarity with woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders, and other equipment
• Construction site experience with emphasis on safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting
• Skilled in installing doors, siding, stucco finishes, mold remediation procedures, and remodeling tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards
