Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. As a Carpenter/Laborer, you will be involved in all phases of construction, from framing and drywall installation to finishing touches like trim and fixture installation. Duties

• Assist in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively
• Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, and siding work
• Install doors, fixtures, flooring, trim carpentry elements, and other wood construction materials with precision
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
• Support site cleanup, material handling, and preparation for ongoing construction activities
• Follow all safety protocols related to power tool safety, construction site procedures, and equipment use

Skills

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including residential carpentry, frame carpentry, and remodeling projects
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction plans to interpret technical drawings accurately
• Experience with drywall installation, caulking, mold remediation, restoration industry practices, and flooring installation
• Ability to operate woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and other power tools safely
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and working with wood construction materials
• Hands-on experience with siding installation, door hanging, fixture mounting, and assembly tasks
• Knowledge of safety standards including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of heavy materials
