Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, and finishing tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site work.
• Install doors, windows, fixtures, siding, flooring, and other building components according to specifications.
• Assist with rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and water damage restoration efforts.
• Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood construction materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols for power tool safety and site procedures.

Requirements

• Prior construction experience or background in carpentry or woodworking is highly preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
• Knowledge of residential carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, door hanging, metal stud framing, and drywall installation.
• Experience with siding installation, flooring, fixture mounting, and restoration industry practices is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to power tools and construction site operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting technical drawings and executing precise craftsmanship.
