Carpenter/Labourer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing your expertise to ensure quality craftsmanship and efficient site operations. .

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to support foundational structures
• Install framing, exterior finishing
• Assembly pre-fabricated log & timber components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for construction site readiness and material handling
• Support plumbing, electrical work, caulking, painting, and other finishing trades as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with knowledge of woodworking and assembly processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings considered an asset
• Familiarity with construction estimating and material measurement techniques
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding and ladders
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work; ability to work at heights if necessary
• Team player and solutions oriented approach
• Valid construction experience combined with handyman skills or general laborer background is highly valued

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
