Carpenter/Roofer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials using hand tools and power tools with precision
• Construct frameworks for walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural elements in accordance with safety standards
• Install, repair, or replace roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, or membranes using appropriate roofing techniques
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to reinforce structures or create custom components
• Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials such as lumber, roofing materials, or masonry components
• Collaborate with team members on site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards
• Assist with plumbing or masonry tasks when required for integrated construction projects
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry and roofing projects
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of roofing systems including installation, repair, and maintenance practices
• Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
• Experience working with masonry or plumbing is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols at all times
• Excellent teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently when needed

Pay: £101.68-£200.00 per day
