Carpenters, Painters and Tilers – Horsham

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced CSCS Carpenters, Painters and Tilers for construction projects in Horsham. We welcome applications from tradespeople specialising in any one of these trades. You will carry out work within your trade, delivering high-quality finishes while following site safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Carpenters: Carry out first and second fix carpentry, including fitting doors, skirting boards, architraves, flooring and stud partitions.
• Painters: Prepare surfaces by filling, sanding and priming, then apply paint and other finishes to a high standard.
• Tilers: Prepare surfaces, measure and cut tiles, and install wall and floor tiles with accurate alignment, grouting and finishing.
• Read and follow drawings, measurements and site instructions relevant to your trade.
• Use appropriate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area.
• Work with site managers and other trades to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Experience and Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter, painter or tiler.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to your role.
• Good knowledge of materials, preparation methods and finishing techniques within your trade.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to work.
• Understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
