Location: We have multiple vacancies across multiple hosts in Adelaide
Duration: 48-month full-time Traineeship

What You'll Learn
Working alongside qualified carpenters, you'll develop practical skills and industry knowledge in:

• Constructing floors, wall frames and roof structures
• Reading and interpreting building plans
• Measuring, cutting and installing timber and building materials
• Using a wide range of hand and power tools safely
• Residential renovations, extensions and new home construction
• Understanding building standards and workplace safety requirements
• Working effectively as part of a construction team
• Planning and completing carpentry tasks to a high standard

Every day will be different, giving you exposure to a broad range of building activities and helping you become a well-rounded tradesperson.

About You
We're looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in carpentry and construction
• Enjoys hands-on work and learning new skills
• Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
• Is reliable, punctual and willing to work hard
• Has a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced tradespeople
• Works well as part of a team
• Enjoys working outdoors and staying active

Requirements

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Satisfactory police clearance
• Certificate II in Construction Pathways or similar qualification highly regarded
