Carpentry Tutor Assessor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to educating and empowering students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working with school leavers and Adults employed in Construction. The Tutor will join a team that has created a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in the work shop for practical skills or class room for support with theory work.
• Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
• Communicate regularly with co-ordinators and others staff regarding student progress, areas for improvement and concerns.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to succeed and develop in the construction industry.
• Support students with, EPA preparation, online tests and study skills.
• Stay updated on educational best practices and resources to enhance tutoring effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Qualified and Experienced Carpenter
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information.
• Ability to support and inspire students while maintaining patience and understanding.
• An understanding or qualifications in education or a related field is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
• A passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
