Carpet Cleaner

Overview

Join our maintenance team as a Carpet Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining spotless, fresh, and inviting environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with cleaning equipment and chemical agents, ensuring carpets and floors are thoroughly cleaned, refreshed, and well-maintained. This position also includes project work such as cleaning filters, pressure washing outdoor spaces, and light landscaping.

Duties

• Operate carpet cleaning machines, floor scrubbing equipment, and floor buffing tools to remove dirt, stains, and debris effectively.
• Handle various floor cleaning chemicals safely, including floor waxing, refinishing agents, and environmentally friendly cleaning solutions.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of cleaning equipment and furniture to access hard-to-reach areas.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by performing janitorial duties across different areas, including sweeping, mopping, and detailed cleaning of carpets and floors.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemical agents in compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally during service visits.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety protocols.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Prior experience in environmental services or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
