Duties

• Support lead installers by preparing work areas, including measuring spaces and organizing tools and materials.
• Assist with manual handling of heavy flooring materials, ensuring safe lifting and positioning during installation.
• Use hand tools and power tools to help cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to project specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings to understand installation plans for flooring
• Support the cleanup process post-installation by vacuuming floors and ensuring the work area is tidy and ready for client inspection.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with flooring installation techniques including carpet laying.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools such and measuring devices.
• Construction site experience demonstrating understanding of safety standards and proper handling of building materials.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions from project plans while maintaining a proactive approach to learning new skills in the restoration industry or flooring sector.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 80.0 per week
