Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpintero/Albañil (Carpenter/Mason) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of carpentry and masonry tasks on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry and masonry tasks.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, cabinetry, doors, siding, drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, and other wood or masonry components using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, caulking, roofing, and water damage restoration tasks with precision.
• Operate woodworking machines and power tools safely to fabricate custom fixtures or structural elements.
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, moldings, and other finishing elements in residential or commercial settings.
• Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly.
• Follow construction plans meticulously while ensuring compliance with safety protocols related to power tool use and site safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing carpentry (metal stud framing included), drywall installation, masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools for woodworking and masonry applications; familiarity with woodworking machines is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise execution of projects.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on residential projects; restoration industry experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to power tool operation and construction site hazards.
• Skilled in fabrication techniques including fixture installation and custom cabinetry; experience with CNC or assembly work is beneficial.
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and demanding physical tasks; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Additional skills such as plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, mold remediation or water damage restoration are valued but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
