Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Carrellista to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate movement, loading, unloading, and storage of goods within our warehouse distribution center. Duties

• Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and safety protocols.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as lift trucks and heavy machinery.
• Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing barcode scanning systems for logistics management.
• Manage inventory levels by organizing stock within the warehouse using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
• Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure safe materials handling.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage.

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques; manual handling skills are essential.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy.
• Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, load & unload procedures, and shipping & receiving processes.
• Knowledge of equipment repair basics and preventive maintenance practices for material handling machinery.
