CA(SA)

AltGen is looking for a recently registered CA(SA) with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis and programme or project coordination to join our client for a four-month contract.

This opportunity will suit an analytical and organised professional who can work independently and maintain key deliverables across an Economic Development portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain programme budgets and forecasts, track expenditure, commitments, accruals, invoices and payments, and explain budget variances
• Validate and analyse data relating to employment, skills development, enterprise development, social investment and local procurement
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports, dashboards and management submissions
• Maintain governance documents, approvals, risk registers and complete, audit-ready supporting records
• Coordinate procurement activities, supplier onboarding and contractual deliverables with Procurement and Legal
• Work with Finance, programme owners, contractors and service providers to track actions, resolve issues and meet deadlines

Requirements

• Recently registered CA(SA)
• Relevant financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data-validation capability
• Experience in governance, compliance and audit-ready documentation
• Exposure to procurement, supplier administration or contract coordination
• Experience within Economic Development, Sustainability or ESG is advantageous
