The Role

Track and manage insurance authorizations so our residents' care stays covered without gaps.

This position works out of our corporate office located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Start and end times have some flexibility and can be discussed during interview process.

Salary will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Track active authorizations and their expiration dates

  • Submit requests for ongoing authorizations on time
  • Follow up with payers on pending requests
  • Keep authorization records accurate and up to date
  • Share authorization status with facility teams

Requirements

• • • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience with medical authorizations or healthcare billing
    • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care rules
    • Experience with EMR systems and payer portals
    • Strong organization and follow-up skills
