Job Title : Cash Applications Specialist

Location : Addison, IL

On-Site: 5 Days a week onsite, Monday-Friday

Hours : 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Range : $25-28/hour

Role Overview : Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Cash Applications Specialist. Our client located in Addison, IL is looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. Our client is seeking an individual with experience in cash applications, large-dollar payments, and is ambitious and detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process daily cash receipts, including high-dollar payments and credit card transactions
• Review and post payments with a high level of detail and accuracy
• Research and resolve discrepancies, including short payments, tax adjustments, and other account deductions
• Manage high-volume payment posting while maintaining accurate records
• Work independently while handling daily cash application responsibilities

Qualifications :

• Prior cash applications or payment posting experience preferred
• Experience with manual processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working independently in a quiet, focused office environment
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn
