Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Cashier and Runner to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service at the checkout counter, managing inventory, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions accurately, assisting with floor operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities. Additionally, this position includes ordering groceries for floor inventory and managing liquor orders to maintain stock levels and meet customer demands.

Duties

• Operate cash register efficiently, processing customer transactions accurately and promptly.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers at the checkout area.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products on the sales floor.
• Order groceries necessary for floor inventory to ensure product availability.
• Manage liquor orders, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained in compliance with store policies.
• Support floor operations by running errands within the store as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cashiering or retail is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Good organizational skills for managing inventory orders effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic knowledge of grocery products and liquor ordering processes is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
