Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Operate TOAST POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle phone communication with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering inquiries with clear, friendly communication
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area to ensure food safety standards are met
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Support food service operations by collaborating with team members to ensure timely order processing and smooth restaurant flow

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly preferred, especially in cashier or host/hostess roles
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and reservation management tools is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction experience, are essential
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing
• Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, demonstrating excellent guest relations and organizational skills
• A background in serving or guest services helps build rapport with diverse customers and enhances overall guest experience
