Role & responsibilities

The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. The ideal candidate should be honest, accurate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Scan products and process customer purchases accurately.
• Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure correct billing.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy.
• Answer customer questions and assist them when needed.
• Keep the checkout counter clean and organized.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Follow company policies and maintain accuracy in all transactions.
