Cashier

Bring the good vibes. Keep the line moving. Make someone’s day.

Are you friendly, energetic, and genuinely great with people? We’re looking for a Cashier to join our San Diego team and add a little extra sparkle to every customer’s visit.

You’ll be one of the first and last people our customers interact with, so a warm welcome and a positive attitude go a long way. From ringing up purchases and answering questions to restocking grab-and-go items, you’ll help create a checkout experience that feels quick, easy, and upbeat, even during the busiest rushes.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every customer with a smile and friendly hello
• Scan items accurately and process cash, card, gift card, and digital payments
• Count change, provide receipts, and follow cash-handling procedures
• Answer common questions about products, prices, promotions, and store policies
• Help with returns or exchanges according to company guidelines
• Keep your register, counter, and nearby displays clean, stocked, and organized
• Restock bags, receipt paper, impulse items, and other checkout essentials
• Call for assistance when a customer needs extra help
• Jump in wherever the team needs support during busy periods
• Help customers leave feeling taken care of and hopefully a little happier than when they arrived

You’ll Fit Right In If You’re

• Friendly, upbeat, and comfortable starting conversations
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to pitch in
• Comfortable learning a point-of-sale system and handling payments accurately
• Calm, focused, and courteous when the line gets long
• Able to switch between tasks without losing attention to detail
• Happy working on your feet in a lively, customer-facing environment
• Open to feedback and excited to learn new skills
• A team player who believes small moments of kindness matter

Previous cashier, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. We’re happy to train someone who brings reliability, curiosity, and the right energy.

Why Join Us?

• Competitive hourly pay
• Paid, hands-on training
• Flexible scheduling
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• A fun, welcoming, and supportive team
• Opportunities to learn new responsibilities and grow
• Employee discounts or perks, where applicable
• Benefits may be available based on hours worked and eligibility
