About the role

Shelter Restaurant is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable Cashier to join our team in Bali.
This role focuses on delivering smooth and accurate transaction processes while ensuring excellent guest service and supporting daily restaurant operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transaction & Payment Handling

• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Operate POS systems and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Process bills, refunds, and payment adjustments when required
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling and daily transaction reporting

2. Guest Service & Frontline Support

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with payment-related inquiries
• Deliver professional and friendly service during guest interactions
• Coordinate with service teams to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Handle guest concerns politely and escalate issues when necessary

3. Cashiering Operations & Reporting

• Perform opening and closing cashier procedures
• Reconcile daily sales and cash balances accurately
• Maintain organized records of transactions and receipts
• Support administrative reporting and operational documentation when needed

4. Team Collaboration & Workplace Standards

• Work closely with restaurant and operational teams to maintain efficient workflow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier and front desk areas
• Follow company SOPs, financial procedures, and service standards
• Support overall restaurant operations during busy periods

Requirement

1. Experience & Background

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role within hospitality or F&B industries
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred

2. Technical & Operational Skills

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to handle transactions quickly and accurately under pressure
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes

3. Service & Communication Skills

• Friendly, professional, and guest-oriented personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
